Unbecoming
I am still so disgusted.
So apparently JD Vance, in the continuation of his dancing monkey tour in support of the US surrender document, ahem, the MOU, has now stated from the podium at a White House press conference that Israelis should refrain from criticizing Trump because he is the “only” world leader still sympathetic to Israel. Is it just me or does JD sound like the abusive partner in a relationship. To Israel - “You should be grateful I deal with you because you are so disgusting nobody else would want you.” (which is also false- read this note)
Something is so terribly wrong here within the halls of this administration. Ok, there has been alot wrong since January 21, 2025, but this noxious attitude is just unbecoming of the Vice President of the United States. It reminds me when JD went off half-cocked at Zelensky in the Oval Office because Zelensky wasn’t showing enough deference and didn’t say “thank you” for everything that Trump was doing for him.
I am not sure if its because JD thinks this is how you have to behave in order to get MAGA to support his bid for the presidency because he tries to be one of Trump’s boys, or this is really who he is. When he was in the Senate he didn’t miss a beat of how to come across. Polished. Polite. Present. Strong. In the debates he came across erudite and knowledgeable. Now he traffics in antisemitic conspiracy theories. He sounds more like a member of the DSA than the GOP.
But then again Tucker is his friend, which he reiterated time and time again when he was on Eva Braun-wanna be- blond-anorexic-Nazi- bitch Megyn Kelly’s show. Between the lot of them these Mein Kampf channeling podcastians all seem to be competing for their 30 pieces of silver from the Qatari Islamist-slavers. And they are not the only ones. And for good measure, apparently JD spent the time with Megyn “Obersturmbannführer” Kelly railing against John Podhoretz of Commentary Magazine as a war monger who doesn’t want peace.
Just as a little aside, considering there are so many conservatives, not the least of whom is former VP Mike Pence who are disgusted with the MOU, and has openly said so, but somehow JD spent a huge portion of the show attacking a Jewish conservative as if only the Jews don’t like the MOU…. why? Not sure. But considering that that malevolent bottom feeder Kelly said Israel was a cancer in American society that needed to be removed, where better for JD to imply the good old fashioned antisemitic trope of “dual loyalty.” The implication was very clear.
JD, by innuendo of course never directly, asserted that Jewish Americans are more interested in what Israel thinks about the MOU than understanding the economic pain of the average American gentile (after all, he has to make sure that if you called him out for his judenhass he could feign distress, disgust, anger and even outrage that you would have the nerve to suggest that he would ever traffic in something so grossly repugnant as antisemitism)….You see, the MOU apparently was all about the economic issues facing Americans, not the fact that the Qataris wanted the Strait opened because they were the ones losing billions of dollars every day because they could not move their natural gas. And the fact that they just gave Trump a 400 million dollar plane, and his sons have hotel deals with Doha has nothing to do with why Trump agreed to this US capitulation deal at all.
(Now I’m not saying of course that the reason Trump agreed to the surrender document was because it benefitted him and is family financially. I’m not implying it at all. Anymore than JD is implying that Jewish Americans are more loyal to Israel than their own country….but…who knows….it may be true and it may not be true, it may be partially true, it may be a fantasy…)
(By the way for you young’uns, the push button thing attached to a line and on the table is a phone)
Listen, I mean JD is a new Catholic, and he is religiously adamant that this MOU is a gift from the Almighty, so does he think that trafficking in Islamo-nazi-antisemitism is part of some new catechism. Did Pope Leo make some kind of update that the rest of us are unawares and only told JD? (For those who are all pissy now, I am not picking on the Pope.)
At the same time, the Qatari emir was front and center at the G7 summit. It was as if the world was paying homage, to these 7th century barbarians. And it isn’t just Qatar in the forefront when the Emir moves. It is the IRGC, the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood), and all the Islamists that he supports. But not one peep out of the Europeans. Oh no. It was, “Yes, please please give us your money.” (And they act as if Jews are greedy.) It’s as if the stars aligned for all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those who had turned over their Jews to the Nazis. Here they had reason to placate two of the most antisemitic regimes (Iran and Qatar) on the planet, get money to boot for it, and they get to come off as reasonable heroes because they stood up to those nefarious Israelis who just wouldn’t let the Islamists slaughter their children. (How dare the Jews fight back.) Heck, when Trump was signing that MOU at Versailles, of all places, you could see the rapturous look on Macron’s face. He looked simply orgasmic.
Yes, Versailles, the place where that disastrous Treaty ending WW1 was signed. The treaty which history now shows led directly to WW2. Symbolism may not be your thing, but history does rhyme.
Meanwhile, I am not going to get into the weeds of the MOU. There are experts galore going over the details or lack thereof (some discussions are linked below), and trying to understand what the hell happened. I have yet to hear any of them say this is a good deal in the long run for the US.
And yes, oil prices have come down, but will our gas prices go down? Will this bring down the average person’s food prices? Let’s see how greedy the oil companies and big Ag are. Then lets see how Trump’s surrender deal holds up for the average person.
And while Americans are driving their big beautiful SUVs and BBQing their t-Bones and eating their Low-Country Seafood boils, let’s also see what Americans will do when the IRGC theocratic nutters explode a nuclear bomb over Iowa in order to bring about Armageddon in the hopes that the hidden Mahdi returns. (Like I wrote in an earlier essay before you chime in on the Iran war, answer some important questions.)
These Islamists fucking mean it when they say “Death to America.” That Trump is trying to gaslit America into actually believing that the IRGC is more reasonable today than they have been over the last 47 years, or when they slaughtered 40,000 of their own people in January, and their philosophy has changed, just shows how ignorant he is about religious extremism, or maybe he knows he’s full of shit, he just doesn’t care.

I still hold to my original take on the MOU especially after reading it:

Never trusted Vance. I have been disappointed with Trump after his multiple warning without actions to Hamas. I am not American, and this deal is true to form. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan!! Never finish the job.
It will be hard for Israel, but good in the long run.
Trump’s abuse of Netanyahu I find particularly repugnant.
I am afraid that for America and for Western liberal democracies this is a dark day.
I find Vance to be an utter disappointment. Apparently his new book is a denunciation of his first book, hillbilly elegy, where seems to praise hard work over handouts. I’m less disappointed in Trump because I always thought Trump was a wild card. And even now I’m still holding out hope that he has a bit of that 4D chess magic up his sleeve.
