Really the usual suspects signed that stupid letter. Are Gazans from Gaza? I thought the story was they are 5th generation permanent genetic refugees still carrying the key to their house in Ashkelon. All of a sudden they can’t leave Gaza. They can be whining about the ‘Zionist’s’ from anywhere in the world.
Of course the usual suspects signed that letter, but unfortunately some left leaning proisrael persons of note like Rabbi Wolpe signed the letter ,too. They let their TDS win out making them truly ridiculous.
The entire thing is stupid, either they are refugees, which means they can be moved from any area since it is not their "homeland," or they are Gazans which means they are not refugees.
They also say Gaza is sovereign territory, so the US can't come in and do as it likes, but if it is sovereign that means that Hamas is the ruling government, like Nazi Germany was the ruling government, and they attacked a sovereign nation Israel in an attempt at genocide. Therefore, Israel then has the legal right to destroy the entire power structure in the strip. Hamas then is the government not a terrorist organization. Meaning also that it is not occupied as well. Which is it? Is Gaza occupied or is it a sovereign nation?
I agree so much! I’m so tired of liberal meltdowns. They didn’t meltdown on October 7.8 or following. They made fun of me for crying about the murdered and raped Israelis and worrying constantly about our hostages. No they freak out when a president is democratically and peacefully elected. I’m actually on SNAP and Medicaid and I’m not freaking out - I’m following what is actually happening while working to get a new full time job with benefits again. Focusing on solutions instead of freaking out about the problem. Love this piece !!!!
You are 100 percent correct in saying "...it's not over by a long shot" - or a short shot. And re Qatar. Definitely unsettling times watching all this play out. Good thing Hashem is a high tower and strong fortress, as David says.
A wonderful read. Thank you! I can relate to the IEP process - trusting an education system to come up with something better for your special needs child was not in my nature either. I would not trust any "experts" more than I would trust myself to determine what is best for him.
While I am not American, I am beyond grateful for the support the President and his team offer Israel. I do believe he is committed to peace. Time will tell, but for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful, and the insane level of University-based Jew hatred will finally be addressed.
Thank you for the compliment. I have found that the so-called experts do not differentiate from child to child. They read a book and also decide they know everything. I can truly count on one hand the number of teachers/support persons/therapists whose opinion I would trust when it came to my child.
I agree with you that I do feel hope that some of the insane antisemitism is going to be addressed. I'm hoping that it continues for a very long time.

Oops didn’t know about him. Hostages aren’t out yet and he’s doing this. Not very smart. Gaza is it an open air prison or paradise lost?

Thanks April. It is important to stay grounded and function in reality. I hope you get that job really soon. 💖
