Agree there is plenty to do. However there is a disconnect somewhere. The direction to do something at a local level sounds a bit like a return to the readers digest days. The world has changed in how information is distributed and how opinions are formed. How did the campus madness take hold, everywhere in the western world. I myself have no answers ... but not sure joining a community group is going to be able to address that issue.

There is no disconnect. This is also not the first time that campuses erupted in protests. I grew up during Vietnam and witnessed what happened first hand then. How did those students become radicalized? It wasn’t through tiktok. It was their education at university. Radical chic was the term. There were newspapers and Tv as well. It was their version of social media.

Information starts in the home. It starts with parenting. It starts with K-12. as we have seen too the kinderfada starts early. That is why you need to get involved at the local level. Make sure that your schools don’t fall for the ethnic studies antisemitism. Teach love of country, duty and honor. This is grassroots organizing. It begins in the churches and synagogues. That way when your child is confronted with the haters they will know how to defend themselves as well.

There are also issues that are very local that need to be addressed. Not everything is national or international. Most of our problems are in our day to day world. Handle the problem just outside your door. When that is handled move on to the next one that is just a little farther afield, and so on and so on. and things will slowly get better.

Exactly. There’s plenty of work to do. No sense being a catastrophist.
